Great layout. This course will actually put you inside the jungle. Do not look for your ball too much in the rough as you might encounter some strange animal. With a very modern Marina it makes the perfect place fish and golf adventure. It is about an hour and a half driving from San Jose.

Ted Robinson, Jr was the designer of the 18 Hole, Par 71 (Temporary), La Iguana Golf Course. This outstanding course is nestled into the tropical rainforest of Costa Rica. The ecological course is a total experience as one combines a great game of golf with the natural beauty, surrounded by exuberant vegetation, and catching glimpses of monkeys and toucans.

Golf Course Description: Nestled alongside an exotic rainforest with beautiful ocean views of the Costa Rican Pacific Coast, the Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort hosts an extraordinary encounter with nature for any golfer… an excellent test of golf, one hole after another. It's a unique golf experience that will impress you while playing in this tropical paradise.

Golf Terrain: Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort is surrounded by lush rainforests and is situated on a secluded cove of the Pacific Ocean.

Plants and Animals: Over 150 birds, 150 trees, and 100 animals have been identified in the area surrounding the golf course. Monkeys, tucans, iguanas and pizotes can be seen on various holes.

Golf Guides: Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort has trained our Golf Guides to assist the guest with their round of golf, but also identify and educate the golfer on the wildlife, vegetation and general characteristics of the rainforest surrounding the golf course. Golf Guides are included with every foursome.
